Draping Techniques

Different styles of Garments draped on the dress form in a synthetic polyester blend gingham fabric to represent the flowy and natural aesthetic. As well as experimenting with 100% white cotton rayon fabric, partly hand-dyed with raspberries and partly dyed with the "flower pounding" method. My goal was to create an all-natural garment to showcase what sustainable fashion can look like. Originally hand-painted looks in gouache and then brought my vision to life with the help of a dress form and some pins, along with my hand-dyed fabric. Along with each look is an illustration done in gouache to interpret the vision
